Who can use Library Express?Anyone with a card from a Westchester Library System library can use Library Express.2. What do I need to check out a book from Library Express?To check out a book from Library Express, all you need is your library card from a Westchester Library System library.3. What do I need to return a book to Library Express?To return a book to Library Express, you will need the book, the plastic case it came in, and your library card.4. How many items can I have out at once from Library Express?There is no limit to the number of items you can have checked out from Library Express.5. Can I return other books (not from Library Express) to Library Express?No. Only books borrowed from Library Express can be returned to Library Express.6. Can I return Library Express books to other library locations?No. Library Express books must be returned to Library Express.7. When is my Library Express book due?Library Express books are due three weeks from the day you check them out. You will receive a receipt with the due date when you check out the book. You can also check your record using our online catalog.8. What happens if I lose the case, the book, or both?You can pay to replace either the case or the book at the Scarsdale Public Library. The case is three dollars and the cost to replace the book depends on its original cost. Cash or checks only.9. Can I renew my Library Express book?No. Library Express books cannot be renewed.10. Can I place a hold on a Library Express book?No. Library Express books cannot be placed on hold.11. What books are in Library Express?The Library Express collection contains popular adult, teen, and children's books. To see a complete list of books in Library Express, go to our catalog, click on advanced search, and under Location select Scarsdale Library Express.
