Scarsdale Public Library Teen Services Department 2022 Summer Reading Challenge

Dear Scarsdale Teens,

If you are a rising 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grader and you are prepared to track your time spent reading this July and August in Beanstack (via mobile app or online at www.scarsdalelibrary.beanstack.org), please register for the Teen Services Department's summer reading challenge! The challenge itself is to read 20 hours during summer break and to log your reading in Beanstack under the Teenstack banner.

[Please note that 6th-graders are eligible to register for the Children's Services Department's summer reading challenge -OR- the Teen Services Department's summer reading challenge but not both.]

1) When you register for the Teen Services Department's challenge, you will receive a pair of sunglasses.

2) After you log 10 hours of reading, you will receive a $10 gift certificate for Häagen-Dazs in Scarsdale and an entry in our summer finale drawing.

3) After you log 20 hours of reading, you will receive a $20 gift certificate for Bronx River Books in Scarsdale and an entry in our summer finale drawing.

4) If you write three book reviews in the Beanstack app, you will earn an extra entry in our summer finale drawing.

5) For every additional 10 hours of reading you log in Beanstack after completing the 20-hour challenge, you will earn an extra entry in our summer final drawing.

6) At the beginning of September, we will have the summer finale drawing for a new pair of AirPods.
