Valid Westchester Library Card

Please note that going forward, a valid Westchester Library Card will be needed for registration. We are gathering information to meet the needs of our patrons.

Grades K - 6 
*We reserve the right to refuse access to any programs for individuals who do not meet the specified age requirement for the program.*

This program will meet for 6 weeks: Wednesdays, October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19, and December 3
PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOUR CHILD CAN ATTEND ALL 6 WEEKS OF THIS PROGRAM.

Join us for Beginner's Chess with John Gallagher to discuss and learn chess strategies in an engaging series. Each class will build upon the skills learned in the previous week.

Registering for one week of this program automatically enrolls your child in all 6 weeks. 
Registration is online only and begins Sunday, September 28 at 8am.
Registration is required. Each child must be registered separately.
Registrations will not be accepted via email.

Photography

Please note that photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the event. These will be used by the library for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. Please consult with a librarian if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempt from this activity.

Unattended Children

Parents and Caregivers should be attentive to children under their care at all times during the program. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised by their caregiver unless over the age of 10.
