Program Description

For youth, Grades 5 through 8.

Experienced members of the Scarsdale High School robotics club will be assisting and guiding kids as they build their bristle bots in SPL's Makerspace.

Build a bot with a toothbrush head, a motor, and a power source. Personalize your decorations however you like. All supplies will be provided.

After building your amazing bot and testing it in the provided obstacle course, we will have a race with all the bots in the last 10 minutes...with bragging rights on the line!

Please note that photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the event. These will be used by the library for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. Please consult with a librarian if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempt from this activity.
