Valid Westchester Library Card

Please note that going forward, a valid Westchester Library Card will be needed for registration. We are gathering information to meet the needs of our patrons.

Entering Grades 3 - 6 in September
*We reserve the right to refuse access to any programs for individuals who do not meet the specified age requirement for the program.*

This program will meet daily: Monday, July 7; Tuesday, July 8; Wednesday, July 9; Thursday, July 10; Friday July 11. Space is limited. Please be sure your child can attend all sessions when registering.

Learn to read and speak Latin! Learn about Roman culture and mythology! Students will play games and learn actively in this class, using the Aequora curriculum developed by The Paideia Institute, which promotes Latin and Greek study. 

The instructor is Ian DiLorenzo, student at Scarsdale High School. 

Please bring a notebook or paper and a pencil or pen. 

Registering for one week of this program automatically enrolls your child in all 5 days. 
Registration is online only and begins Sunday, June 22 at 8am.
Registration is required. Each child must be registered separately.
Registrations will not be accepted via email.

Photography

Please note that photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the event. These will be used by the library for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. Please consult with a librarian if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempt from this activity.

Unattended Children

Parents and Caregivers should be attentive to children under their care at all times during the program. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised by their caregiver unless over the age of 10.
