Join us in the Scott Room to enjoy a virtual tour of the New-York Historical Society's exhibit The First Jewish Americans: Freedom and Culture in the New World.

How did Jewish settlers come to inhabit—and change—the New World? Follow the trajectory of a people forced from their homes in Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, to their controversial arrival in New Amsterdam in 1654 to the political freedoms they gained.

Please Note: A museum docent from the New-York Historical Society will join participants in the Scott Room via Zoom to showcase images and artifacts from the exhibit. This event will take place only for in-person registrants.
