Former Scarsdale resident Edward “Ted” Aldrich was born and raised in Rowayton, Connecticut .After attending Colgate and receiving an MBA in finance from Boston College, Aldrich embarked on a 35-year career in international banking (UBS, Deutsche Bank, Mizuho). Aldrich and his wife Susie currently live in Westport Connecticut where they raised three sons .Along with history, Aldrich’s main interests are soccer (he played four years at Colgate and still plays in a local men’s league), piano, and gardening (his wife is a prominent landscape designer who designs landscapes from Greenwich to Fairfield and New Canaan to Ridgefield).

In the tradition of group biographies like the classic The Wise Men, The Partnership shines a spotlight on two giants, telling the fascinating stories of each man, the dramatic story of their collaboration, and the epic story of the United States in World War II.
