The Golden Age of Mystery with JoAnne Weinberg
October 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Golden Age of Mystery is usually considered to include British authors of the 1920s and 1930s, although the style was written at least as early as 1911. Everyone has heard of Agatha Christie but there were other excellent writers in that era. This talk, led by librarian Jo-Anne Weinberg, is an introduction to authors of this period, which include Patricia Wentworth, R. Austin Freedman, Gladys Mitchell and Ellery Queen just to name a few.
Refreshments will be served.
