Bring your treasure to the Scott Room for an appraisal by Helaine Fendelman and Sheri Mason. 

One item per household please.

Helaine Fendelman is a generalist fine and decorative arts appraiser specializing in estate, divorce and donation evaluations and is a certified member and former President of the Appraisers Association of America, Inc. She is a longtime contributor to Hearst's Country Living Magazine’s "What is it? What is it Worth?” column. She co-authors a weekly syndicated column "Treasures in Your Attic" for Tribune Publishing Company and was the co-host of "Treasures in Your Attic," a television show seen on PBS stations. She is a former adjunct professor at New York University and at New York University’s Appraisal Institute. Additionally, Ms. Fendelman has served as a curator for exhibits at the American Folk Art Museum and has written and edited over 14 books on antiques and collecting.


Sheri Mason is a Generalist, Personal Property Appraiser of Fine and Decorative Arts, and a member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA). In addition to the operation of her business as a dealer of art and antiques for over 20 years, she opened the NYC office for Kaminski Auctions of Beverly, MA, and was principal appraiser. Sheri is a USPAP Compliant Appraiser, an instructor and regular lecturer for The Appraisers Association of America, and was named 2017 Personal Property Appraiser of the year by Straus Media.
