Event Details

Scarsdale was a small but growing town at the beginning of the 20th century. Today the community experiences crimes of burglary and theft most frequently. What types of crime were prevalent in those quieter days of the early 20th century? Join local history librarian Dan Glauber as he explores crimes ranging from petty theft to murder that occurred in or around the small town of Scarsdale as it was rapidly transitioning from a rural town to a bedroom community for well-off New York businessmen and their families.
