Cloud Library (eBooks)

The 3M Cloud Library offers E-books for all ages, available for use with the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android products, Kindle Fire and Windows PCs.  Download the app, sign in with your library card and find your book. Features include bookmarking and notes and syncing on multiple devices. Click here to get started.

Freading (eBooks)

Freading is a new innovative source for library ebooks. You get 5 tokens a week to use towards borrowing ebooks. As long as you have enough tokens you can get any ebook in the collection.

Freegal (Music)

Freegal is a downloadable music service that the Westchester Library System subscribes to. All you need to access the service is your Westchester Library card. Patrons now receive five weekly downloads and three hours of music streaming per day.

Hoopla (eBooks, eAudio-books, Music, & Videos)


Hoopla offers access to over a million titles in six different formats: Movies, TV, Music Albums, eAudiobooks, eBooks, and Comics/Graphic novels. You can check out 3 items a month and there is no waiting. If it’s in Hoopla and you haven’t used all three of your monthly checkouts you can get it right awayindieflix (Videos)


OverDrive (eBooks & eAudio-books)

OverDrive is your main resource for downloadable library ebooks and audiobooks. Log in with your Scarsdale Library Card and get access to additional content available only to our patrons. The collection includes 3,500+ kindle ebooks, 3,500+ EPUB ebooks (for Nook and Apple), 500+ MP3 audiobooks, and 2,900+ WMA audiobooks.

Project Gutenberg (eBooks)

Project Gutenberg offers over 40,000 free ebooks. Download them or read online.

Total BooX (eBooks)

Total BooX lets WLS patrons read, share and discover books with no restrictions, no waiting lists and no tokens.

Zinio (Magazines)

Zinio is a digital newsstand with magazines of interest for every member of the family, with no holds, no checkout periods and no limit to the number of magazines you can download. Digital publications can be downloaded to most internet-enabled devices inside or outside the library.
