Study Rooms
The Library has three (3) study rooms that can accommodate a maximum of four (4) people. They can be reserved by Scarsdale cardholders up to one (1) week in advance. When not reserved or in use, non-Scarsdale Library card holders may use these rooms on a first come, first serve basis. Use limited to three (3) times per week and two (2) hours per day. After 15 minutes, patrons who fail to show for their reserved room may have their reservation cancelled. Reservations end 15 minutes before closing. Study Room Policy
Conference Room
The Library has one (1) conference room for groups of between four (4) and twelve (12) people. It can be reserved up to two (2) months in advance for a maximum of two (2) hours, no more than two (2) times per week. The conference room is free for residents and local organizations that are not charging fees. For-profits and fee based programs will be charged a room fee. Meeting Rooms
The library has three (3) meeting rooms: Meeting Room North, Meeting Room South and the Scott Room. Use of these rooms is limited to not more than three (3) times in any three (3) month period. All reservations need to be requested at least three (3) days in advance and end 30 minutes before closing. All three meeting rooms cannot be rented simultaneously during any given time period.
Scott Room
The Scott Room is our largest available room with a capacity of 170 standing and 140 seated. A projector, lectern, and microphone are available upon request. Note: An appointment for instruction on using the AV equipment must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the reservation start. The room includes a kitchenette and piano, which may be available for an additional fee as outlined in the Meeting Room Policy.
North and South Meeting Rooms
Meeting Room North is the northern half of our dividable meeting room with a capacity of 50. It comes equipped with a flatscreen.
Meeting Room South is the southern half of our dividable meeting room with a capacity of 50. It also comes equipped with a flatscreen.
Meeting Rooms North and South combined can accomodate up to 100 people. It also comes equipped with two (2) flatscreens at each end of the room.
The meeting rooms North and South may be reserved separately or together. If the room divider is in place at any time during the reservation, it will be considered as two separate room rentals and charged accordingly.
