Join us for a morning of art and fun as we celebrate the rich artistic traditions from around the world!

In honor of July Fourth and French American Heritage Month, Kören Beck of Edgemont Art Barn will teach a workshop on the work and styles of several French and American artists focusing on the revolutionary history of the two nations. We will note in particular Benjamin West, Eugène Delacroix, Nancy Spero, and Louise Bourgeois. Come create in a relaxed and supportive environment. Try something new, pick up some helpful tips, or or discover a style you've never considered. All levels are welcome.

Supplies for oil pastels and colored pencils will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks and other supplies if they want more variety in media.

Kören has her MFA from Parsons School of Design and loves to teach adults and children.
