Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a morning of art and fun as we celebrate the rich artistic traditions from around the world!

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Kören Beck of Edgemont Art Barn will give a brief overview on the work and styles of several Hispanic artists focusing on the rich cultural heritage of Central and South America. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to draw based on the work of exhibited artists or freely using still life arrangements. Come create in a relaxed and supportive environment. Try something new, pick up some helpful tips, or or discover a style you've never considered. All levels are welcome.

Art supplies such as colored pencils will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks and other supplies if they want more variety in media.

Kören has her MFA from Parsons School of Design and loves to teach adults and children.
