Program Description

Event Details

Family program, geared to families with children 2 and up

Local author Laura Bower is throwing a lovey party! During this program for all ages, she’ll read her debut picture book THE IMPOSTER, which features a young girl named Olive, her favorite stuffed animal, Mr. Snuggles, and an imposter that shows up one day. She’ll discuss the inspiration behind the book, and there will be the opportunity for Q&A and book signings. All attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal/lovey to join in the fun. Lemon squares (a treat from the book) will be served!

Bronx River Books will be here to sell The Imposter.
If you would like to order the book in advance please click here.

Laura Bower lives in Scarsdale, NY with her husband, three kids (and their loveys) and dog Clover. She is a preschool teacher at a local nursery school and loves traveling, theatre and game nights with family and friends. Her second picture book, EMILY SNOOK, THE WORLD’S SMALLEST COOK, illustrated by Rekha Salin, will be available in Fall 2024. For more information, visit www.laurabowerauthor.com.

Registration is online only and begins Sunday, February 25, at 8am.
