Safety Expo

June is Safety Month.

Walk, don't run, to the Scott Room for our first annual Safety Fair!

Organizations of interest to seniors will be available from 11:00am - 1:00 pm, stop by with your questions.

Organizations include, but are not limited to: Scarsdale Police, Scarsdale Fire Department, EMT, The Key (fall prevention), Westchester County Public Works and Transportation, Westchester Medical Center (blood pressure), Respond Link (medical alert buttons), Tellaboomer (safety equipment in the home), American Red Cross (CPR, free fire alarm), and Livewell Modifications (occupational therapist).

This event is made possible via a partnership with Stacy Cook of the Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service-Aging in Place,  as well as Maida Silver, the Senior Services Coordinator for the Village of Scarsdale Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department.
