Program Description

Event Details

South Asian Students for Justice (SASJ) is a Westchester-based organization dedicated to dispelling harmful narratives and injustices against South Asians and empowering and uniting South Asian students. Join us as we break down the South Asian experience in government with New York State Assemblywoman Rajkumar.

Jenifer Rajkumar is a first-generation Indian-American from New York as well as the first South Asian woman to serve in any New York State Office. Her work in the protection of human rights law as well as her contributions to New York’s diversity agenda has been critical to the future of South Asians across the state.

Please register below for this event to hear her speak in the Scott Room at Scarsdale Library on Sunday, October 15 at 12:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

This program is brought to you by South Asian Students for Justice (SASJ) in partnership with Scarsdale Library's Teen Advisory Board.
