Program Description

Event Details

Join us in Meeting Room South for a ukulele jam session with others who love to sing and play music. Please bring your tuned-up uke, extra copies of any music you wish to share, and a fervent desire to have fun with other ukulele players. If desired, please bring your own music stand. Hawaiian shirts optional!

All levels of skill are welcome, but knowledge of basic chords is necessary. No formal instruction will be provided, but our regular ukulele players love to help out beginners! You are also welcome to bring an accompanying instrument instead, such as harmonicas, bells, tambourines, kazoos, or your own voice.

For those interested in getting started and learning more about ukulele music, YouTube and many other sites have great lessons and demonstrations. You can also access a great lesson in ukulele fundamentals through LinkedIn Learning for free with your library card number and PIN. Click HERE to sign in and get started.
