Event Details

Join us online for a lively and insightful presentation from the National Gallery of Art exploring the rise of modern and abstract art. How and why did rules of painting and sculpture change radically throughout the 20th century? Through close looking and conversation, we'll explore how artists departed from traditional materials and subject matter while grappling with the modern world.

This program is a joint collaboration between the Mount Pleasant, Pelham, Ruth Keeler Memorial, and Scarsdale libraries.

Please Note: This is a virtual program. All registrants will receive a Zoom link approximately one hour before the beginning of the presentation.
