Bob Abate will talk about his veterans' oral history project with World War Two veterans. He will describe their experiences during World War Two and why they are referred to as the "Greatest Generation." Mr. Abate began interviewing Westchester veterans of World War Two in the 1990s. Since then he has collected hundreds of hours of oral history so that the sacrifices of Westchester's Greatest Generation are not forgotten.
