Living in the Know: The Adoptee's Quick-Start Guide to Finding Family with DNA Testing is a book about the importance of knowing the truth of one's origins and solving cases of unknown parentage with DNA Testing.

Part memoir, part quick-start guide, Geraldine Berger, "The Genetic Genealogy Coach," shares her own journey to living in the know. The search for her birth parents spanned a cumulative thirty-four years, due to sealed records, aliases and other erroneous information. Berger tells you which DNA tests to use and how to navigate websites like Ancestry.com. She guides you step-by-step through the Berger Method, the proven strategy she has used to solve hundreds of cases of unknown parentage and other family tree mysteries.

Berger's compelling personal story- and those of twelve others whom she has reunited with members of their biological families- make a powerful argument for discovering the truth of one's origins.

A professional genetic genealogist, Geraldine Berger specializes in helping adult adoptees identify and locate their birth parents and other family members, using DNA evidence. An adoptee herself (raised in Scarsdale) Gerri has cracked hundreds of cases, including her own, and her successes have appeared in news outlets worldwide. In May 2021, she published her book, "Living In The Know: The Adoptee’s Quick Start Guide to Finding Family with DNA Testing,” available on Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/2jra9ewd

You will receive an email with the Zoom link approximately 1 hour before the beginning of the event.
