In this 1957 crime thriller and film noir story, a wealthy Philadelphia man's personal estate and fortune is left to the leader of a spiritualist group. Intending to steal some of the extravagant jewels from the fortune, Nat Harbin (Duryea) forms a gang including Baylock (Capell) and Gladden (Mansfield). Gladden pretends to be a devotee of the group's work, intending to get close enough to complete the theft.
